Myers Flat Mutual Water System, Inc. was established in 1983, when the town pooled their resources and bought Myers Flat Water Works from Nevada "Vada" Jennings, who we remember dearly to this day.

The system has proudly been supplying clean safe drinking water to the town of Myers Flat since 1963.

What the term mutual means:

We are a mutual water company in that each member owns a share of the system.

The membership is tied to the property and when the property is sold the membership transfers to the new owner upon payment of the transfer fee and any outstanding balances.

Upgrading the System:

In the last 5 years we have started replacing the old lines with new and by 2020 hope to have all new lines and meters in place.
